about 15 yr ago i lived in mt vernon,ill. fished there one time. that's a real nice lake good bass and big crappie beauty full  lake. never got the chance to go back i moved to savanna, ill pool 13 if it was not for the winters i would still be there.
you own the property or do you have leased property where your cabin is ?

Yes, it is a very nice lake.  I do own the property (it is not leased) which consists of two wooded lots, with no one behind or on either side, so the back is very private.  Just one house across the road.  Rock bottom wet-weather creek at back of property and a nice big bluff behind that.  I see deer and turkey all the time behind the cabin.  Cabin is on the west side of the lake, in Eagle Point.  If you would like more info and pictures, please e-mail me and I'll be glad to send it.  scottporter1973@gmail.com
