Oct. Cypress tournament

Lauched at the parks road launch yesterday and dragged the bottom (hull) of the boat on a prop wash ridge that has developed over the years. Come Sunday we won't be able to launch there. I went to the park ramp and graphed it and it is in good shape.

So we will be launching from the park. Not sure what time they open. If anyone has their number either call them or post it here and I will.

I called them yesterday and "Dan" told me that they will open the park gate at 7am.

That's about 10 minutes past safe light

Everyone needs to get in line about 6:30 (there's plenty of road) and we can take monies and do livewell checks. That way when the gate opens we can get in get in the water and go.

Spread the word.....

You never know, if they see us lining up them may open a few minutes early doubt it but it's worth a try.

I'll call and ask them if they wouldn't mind opening a little early for us.

I called and talked with the park. They said NO as far as opening up early. No exceptions. Plus, as for Sunday their maint guy comes from Shreveport and he usually shows up "a little after 7 or so, other wise the gate opens whenever the office people show up".

Figures, plus I just got to thinking the gate is out at the road not at the park house so we will be blocking the road.

I am talking with Laurie right now and have a text in to speak with BassBuff. As soon as I hear something I will post here.

As per our rules, we must draw a safety lake as soon as we determine it is needed. Everyone talked about Sue's the morning of?

If there is a meeting at sue's? just make sure someone gives directions, so i'll know where it is..lol
