Due to safety concerns and the closure of the parks road ramp I called Steve Reneau, James Teer and spoke with Laurie. All three agreed with you all and it was determined that we need to invoke the safety lake rule. This rules states that when a lake is deemed unsafe the club officials will hold a drawing for a new lake.

James Teer who is not fishing this event came by the house to do the drawing.

All lakes available to include Caddo were put into the hat, except Bistineau (because we just fished it) and Red River Pool 4 (because we fish it next) and James pulled one.

We are now going to the Red River Pool 5 out of Clark's. I know it's high and muddy but it went in the hat because it is not as bad as when we fished it last time.

Steve Reneau wants anyone that has issues or would like to discuss this to contact him. If you don't have his number and would like it send me a PM and I will get it to you.

Be at the ramp by 6:15 as we should have safe light about 6:45. Be advised Laurie will make sure it is good and safe light before she lets folks go because the river is somewhat high.

Thanks for the heads up Mike I know this is a pain to change and all but thanks to all the officers for doing what they can so we have safe tournaments.

See you all at Clarks

I was afraid we'd have to do this. The lake has been dropping steadily. The right decision was made and the Red was pulled out of the hat. Good luck to everyone! This will be my last absence due to family coming in this weekend. I can't wait to get back to fishing! See y'all next month! Grin

I have an Idea! I was wondering what I might want to use? Thanks for the reminder Look out I have been working out!

By the time you take out  last tournament and the next tournament then the draw down lakes there weren't but five in the hat.... 20% chance it would get pick or an 80% chance your favorite wouldn't....

Seems like we need to make the river our default lake  ROFLMAO
