#1 I'm not sure. you probably could.

#2 there are a ton of great baitcasters for good prices. quantum has some good products as well as abu garicia and many others. ive been thinking about a black max for pond fishing.
check out Monster Fishing Tackle. as they have 9 different reel under $100.
Bass Tackle Depot has another 4 or 5 at least also under a $100.
*hint* links are on the right side

#1. I'm not sure also. What model reel is it??  if it is a good/new brand of reel then spare parts could be found.

#2. Yes, always checkout our UB sponsors first for your tackle shopping needs. Here's a couple of links with some great reels for good prices

Spending some time on ebay will help you find some very reasonably priced reels also...Do some searches on the internet and do some price comparisions....somebody ALWAYS has some sort of reel specials going on. There are a TON of great reels to be had for under $150, and alot that fall under the $100 mark.

Depending on the reel and model the fix for the anti reverse problem could be very simple or very complex?  Need to know more about the reel.

And you have been put in a great directions for the baitcasters.

Which ABU have you found? the regular price of 199 makes it sound like a Revo? If so jump on  it, in fact buy 3 I have an Idea!
