Members of the Maryland Bass Federation Nation today stocked 113 adult largemouth bass into Middle River. Each fish was tagged with a 2" bright red tag by DNR Fisheries biologists to track movements of the fish over the next couple of years. If you catch one of these fish, please email me or DNR with the date & location of your catch. Also let us know where it was released.

Hopefully, data from this project will help us learn about bass migration in this area that I believe is affected by extreme up changes in salinity. I think that the drought conditions we saw last year forced many bass to move further north.

Thanks,

Scott Sewell    Sun

I wonder what the ratio was male-female. They sure were nice fish. Don't forget to keep the tag in the fish when you release it.   I believe every fish was 13"-14" +. Thanks Scott.
