Lake Leon bass fishing Report 10/25/09

Weather Partly Cloudy- Prefrontal
Wind SE @ 10-15 mph
Water clarity- Stained to Clear
Water Temp 64 to 68

I think the Fall bite is just getting Started on Leon. The shad are starting to get thick on mainlake points and the first secondary points headed back into coves and creeks.

most of the Bass are Still on mainlake points though. but did find a few just inside the mouths of creeks and coves.

Our main pattern today was mainlake points with gravell shoreline in between with scattered wood. most fish were caught from 4-10 ft of water. 3 main baits, Fogy green vibrashock, White buzzbait and mattminnow swimbait.

most of the Buzzbait fish came tight to cover and the Vibrashock and swimbait fish were from open water.
