I heard that cotile lake was on pretty good due to the fact they are draining it , so curiosity killed me i drug the Legend over there and really enjoyed myself last saturday and sunday between church . The only launch you can use is at the rec site which is still very usable . Launched at 7:45 and fished all the stained water i could find and found several BIG FISH SCHOOLS  i caught 20 before 12:00 and it slowed down but had several over 3 lbs with my biggest going just over 4.5lbs in VERY SHALLOW water im talking 0-4 feet my biggest came so close to the bank i cant believe i didnt see fins lol  all i could get bit on was a white spinner bait  no topwater at all and trust me i threw it   sunday was not as productive but still caught 8 in about 2 hours most in the 2.5-3lb range  i was very satisfied , only thing is you gotta watch for stumps in the boat rows  cause there a few floating around and some that are not floating just not cut low enough " be careful "  .......hope this helps ya'll  im gonna go back this weekend i think  maybe hit kincaid some  DOES ANYONE HAVE A REPORT FOR KINCAID HuhHuhHuh?                          Shawn

I was going to go to cotile last sunday but decided to go to Kincaid. I only caught two small fish. Now let me say that i don't "know" the lake to be able to catch number as i only go twice a year. Talk to a guy that lives on the lake and said they had been catching about 20 a day, where at, i don't know.

With all the rain the lake will rise a bit even though they are trying to drain it. It won't stay up long. By the way be very careful when running around. A buddy of mine hit a stump in a boat run the other day. It tore his motor up.

Who makes a boat run with stumps in the middle of it!   Angry  By the way it is in the middle of the intersection to the west run.

He wasn't even running that fast. If you want to get somewhere you have to run. They got people out there as we speak running balls to the walls. I wouldn't recommend anyone do that but you will need to get up on step if you want to get somewhere. All I'm saying is be careful.

Fishing choices are getting a little limited with all this water.  I am gonna make a few trips to the bend this coming week.
