Okay guys and gals, I'm going to look at a new boat tomorrow. Any comments either way about the pro gator boats. I'd like to support a local mfg. but want to hear what you guys think.

I've heard good things about the ride and I've heard they are not the fastest but they have a stable fishing platform & as Nitro owners we can relate to that part.  Laugh

The new big pro gator was shown at the last Bass Life event & I'd double check the fit/finish before you make a move.  The design was well thought out & I’m sure its just my view of things but some areas looked like they could have used more time/attention before putting it out as a showcase item at such a large venue.

I owned one for 12 years and really hated to see it go...  It was a great boat and designed for fishing in these waters.....as stated before..they are not the fastest but they are very stable and it is nice to know that if you have problem the  manufacture is just down the road.....Leroy Moore will back up his boats.

I had a 178V. I really liked the boat and it was fast for 18' boat. 63 mph gps with a hole shot that would leave others eating your wake.
Not bad on big water but I've been in better. Very stable platform, and let me tell you, those boats can take a beating and just smile back. If you ever put a hole in one, you better check to see if your passengers are ok. They are rock solid.
High five and keeping things local. I respect that greatly.  Clap

I'd buy a Skeeter...THey are semi local as well...just two hours away in Kilgore TX. If you ever want to take a tour and see them being made first hand...give me a shout.
