Hey guys, I just bought a load of Vibrashocks. What do you use for trailers? Are you using them now instead of crankbaits?

I use a bunch of different trailers. I use small hollow belly swimbaits,Zoom speed craws, split tail trailers, and small hook tail worms.

The problem I've had with hollow belly swim baits it's roll over from the turbulence of both the blade and tail action of the swim bait. How do you keep it from doing that?

I started with the zipper worms that Karl used to put on them, but also have tried flukes, split tail trailers, curltail grubs & ribbontail worms. I've also tried some Tsunami brand eels, with & without the skirt, and primarily for Stripers.

I've got some Rage Tail Anacondas too I want to try.  Shhhhhh!

You can use just about any trailer you want. I use a lot of zoom finesse worms, zoom fluke Jr's. and the 3.5 in. money makers by yum. I have caught a lot of fish with these trailers. Fish will also hit the bait with no trailer. If you use a swim type bait with a paddle tail just slow your retrieve down. This should keep your bait from rolling over. Remember there is no wrong way to fish a vibrashock bait. Hope this helps and good luck fishing.

the very best luck I have had with the vibrashocks is with the original culprit worm either all or just part of it.  Tried a lot of other trailers with some luck, but the culprit just seems to work the best for me.

I found the perfect match for the vibra shock.  Reaction Innovations skinny dipper.  You can use the large for a larger profile or the smaller one for a smaller profile.  I have caught more fish on this setup.

I also use the zoom trick worm (white) and the zoom split tail.

I got several packages of Manns Mosquito Hawks for Christmas a few years ago and had never used them. They are just the right length and width to fit inside the skirt and mann do they have action. (Excuse the bad punn)

I've found that a Zoom Fluke in Baby Bass goes perfectly with a vibrashock in Fogy Green.

I've also used a baby brush hog... adds A LOT of fluttering to the backend

I use everything I've got from time to time Laugh This year my favorite was a 5" swim jig grub from Lucky Strike Lure Co.

I guess I'm old school.  I still like the 6" ring worm the best.  I do like the 5" lucky craft swim jig grubs also.
