I bought one last winter and used it all year....I LOVE it!  It casts a mile and is smooth.  For the price its hard to beat.  It is a bit on the heavy side though....

I have one.  It's great.  Extra low speed, oversized power handle, really sensitive design, and a deep spool.

I bought one yesterday in the 4.7 gear. I got to fish it a little today. I did not actually hook any fish but I got to cast it. I LOVE IT. It may be a touch heavy but for a weekend warrior like me its one HECK of a reel. I actually have located to more that are almost like new and I am buying them. One of them is a 6.3 and the other is 4.7 anyway I cant wait to seriously fish it. I will have three of them I am gonna use the two lower gears for cranks and the higher gear for spinner baits.

I know you said that you already have one ordered, but to add to your confidence, I have one and love it for all types of cranks.

I got it in and used it yesterday and it is a good reel. Smooth long casts, I had to look down a couple of times to make sure it was turning on the retrive!  it's that smooth. It handled a few two and three lbrs with ease. good reel especially for the price.

I had very good experience with it. In the end I prefer 6.3:1 for all my fishing needs, That reel is wonderful however
