Thats a good thing to have goals, but to think your so good that someone would have turned around to follow you is pushing it a bit. Many great anglers on the upper bay, you have not put in any time to say you find your own fish. fish some real tournaments and realize what a club cant give you. What did the bush run out of fish??

Man- a little harsh there.  To say he hasn't put any time in to find his own fish is crazy. J puts a lot of time finding fish and figuring out patterns. Those of us that know him know the deal.  In fact he has put more people on good fish (both intentionally and unintentionally  Goin' Fishin')  than anyone I know. It's funny too that everyone thinks he only catches fish in the Bush - your secret is safe with me J! I think for as young as he is, being fairly new to the sport, he should be proud of his accomplishments this year.

I think u may have misunderstood a few things there. Non of the statements you made are even remotely true. I never said that I was so good. i just stated exactly what happend. That some guy turned around and followed me and stopped and watched me. Were in any of my posts did I say such a thing? There are many many great anglers on the bay..that is one thing you did say truthful. And i havnt put in time on the water and found my own fish?....Blasphemy

So who are you? What tourney's do you fish? Your the only person on here that made a negative comment.....whats up? Whats the problem?

Not one time in any of my posts ever have I said im the best or better than anybody..
One thing forsure though.....I can hold my own.

Haters............with out u guys..... im nobody. I need you.... Thanks

And thank you Charlie Wow did you really say that.

Grin  Well struck that nerve did I. I may have been that guy oh you threw your hands up and said wft to! I do bay fish as well as bass fish, I have fished one or two tournaments. I just get a kick out of anglers who guard there spots and think everyone is out to get their secret spots and get mad about it. there isnt a place in the upperbay you fish that someone else hasn't. You should welcome others, thats how you learn new things not throw your arms in the air and throw a hissyfit. Oh yeah, " bushmaster " oh ok. I dont have a hard on for you, nor do I hate I just think your funny.

We all have "our" spots and we like to call them our spots but lets face it, sooo many anglers and so many boat traffic its hard to keep a spot strictly to yourself, plus as Scott posted when you go posting pics of nice fish and talking about how many fish and stuff sometimes people do jump in on a area.  Its funny though you can have guys pull up on spots and not catch nothing and have another guy come behnid them and pull some nice fish ROFLMAO  thats when I have to laugh, its happended to me and I'm sure its happen to all of us.
The lesson is spots are spots but hey its not always the spot but the technique and and presentatin that will bring the lunker home  Goin' Fishin'

Don't let the small things bug you jay. No one can say you don't put your time in on the water. Big PAPA and I were on the lake today and I told him I was going to be up in a week and the first thing he said was you sure showed these good ol'southern boys something about big swimbaits. Keep up the good work. See you soon Beer

don't need to be a pro, known, or even good on the water to get people curious about where your fishing.
sit on a spot while a couple people (who've never fished that spot) drive by and you can bet they've mentally marked that spot as something they need to investigate at some point.
hopefully, they'll have some manners about it and, at least, wait until their next trip out to check it out.
a bit tasteless to follow, spy, and fish on top of someone else.
all part of the game, but you a can at least play nice.

Word! I agree with Greg a few posts up. We all want to help out the next guy and move them along in this wonderful sport, but no matter what, it gets competitive. You do have to be careful with what you share with other anglers because they will steal your "info" on a dime. I know i have reduced my reporting, or at least abbreviated the content in the posts.

As for someone following and jumping on spots that you find...that is shameless. Its ok to come back to a spot and fish something that may have peaked your interest while seeing others on it, but lets show some courtesy! Let it rest a day or two, and don't use it against them...that i thought was understood by all!

Finally with it all said and done! Great freakin' catch Jay...keep it up!

HEY BASSASSIN, YOU ARE SO RIGHT ! ME, AND PROBABLY A LOT OF OTHERS ARE SICK OF HEARING OF THE BRAGGING OF MR. STROZIER. ARE YOU TRYING TO CONVINCE US OR YOURSELF? ARE YOU SO SPECIAL, THAT NO ONE CAN FISH NEAR YOU? IF YOU WANT TO PORTRAY YOURSELF AS MR KOOL, TRY A LITTLE HUMILITY.YOU MIGHT GET MORE RESPECT. YOUR YOUNG AND INEXPERIECED, YOU NEED TO PAY YOUR DUES SON. GOOD FISHERMAN RESPECT THEIR FELLOW ANGLERS. YOU HAVE YET TO LEARN THAT. DON'T KID YOURSELF,NO ONE CARES!!! DIAL BACK THE BRAGGING AND WHINNING AND JUST FISH. BY THE WAY... THE HIP-HOP TEXT WENT OUT LONG AGO ...BRO
