I bought 4 bags of frogs about 6 months ago, and still have 3.5 of them left.

I've bought a pack of the 10" Anaconda in the double trouble color, but have not yet used them. I really like the looks of it, and bought them with the thought that they might work well as an eel imitation. In the tidal waters of MD, eels can be very productive, for both LMB & Striped bass, and since they're what I fish for most, I figured I would give it a try. They might also work fine as a trailer on a Vibrashock!  Shhhhhh!

I've done real well with big ribbontail worms, but still don't feel that any I've used really imitates an eel all that well, and the eel imitations I've tried, don't swim like an eel IMO. I'm hoping the Anaconda will be the ticket, especially for the price. If not, I'll stick with the big ribbontails until a better alternative comes along.  Wink

I have used the rage toads and the rage shad for topwater and they have really good action. They kick up a lot of water and run pretty smooth. The rage shad is better than the rage toad IMO. I have also used the rage anaconda. They do not cast very well due to the huge flat tails on them. This bait causes more backlashes than all my other baits combined. They do however have a great swimming action. I am temped to swim these worms instead of pitching them. They seem to be made to move a little faster and really get that huge tail moving. I have compared the rage anaconda head to head with a 10 in Berkley power worm and have been a lot more successful with the powerworm.

i have used bout all of them. LOVE them. anaconda can be a great tool if used properly. have had no problem casting them. usually rig weightless on a 3/0 ewg and burn it across the top of the water. kinda gives a snake/topwater action. the dont cast extremely great i the wind though. gotta keep it low in the wind.
they all have good actions and can be fished many different ways.

I bought the rage tail anacondas, and can't stand them.  They may work, but for me, a regular ribbontail is much better. There are a few reasons I say that, they don't cast as well, secondly because of the huge tail, you cannot detect light bites as well, I know that sounds weird, but I just cannot feel that well with them.  Also, I am usually fishing deep grass and timber, and a large curl tail will not allow the worm to fall through the grass and sticks to get to the bottom.  This is just MHO, and I'm sure that in some different applications they work, but not for me.

Just started using Rage Tail products this year.  Had a supply of them to take to Florida this Spring and have to say I am impressed for the most part.

The Rage Tail Frog is one noisy topwater bait.  Casts great and when using a large 5/0 or 6/0 Owner EWG rides well over vegetation on floating cover.  It is a very noisy bait so use caution in shallow or calm water that instead of attracting fish you might actually scare them.  Under windy conditions with a chop on the water these are at their best and do catch big fish.

The Rage Tail Chunk works great on a jig when you want a lot of tail movement and vibration.  Fishing deep weeds these baits vibrate all the way to the bottom and move a lot of water.  When jigging with these as trailers you can feel the vibration as you pull the jig off the bottom.

The Rage Tail Craw. Lobster and Space Monkey all are great baits to use with a heavy pegged sinker when punching through thick matted cover.  Using the Space Monkey like any other creature bait works as well and makes a great Carolina-Rig bait too.

The Rage Tail Anaconda Fishing the larger 10'' worm unweighted on braided line with a big 7/0 EWG hook worked very well in thick surface cover in Florida.  It looks like the cross between a snake and an eel coming through the water and over the tops of pads, hydrilla, milfoil, or any combination of cover you could find.  Fishing in and around Kissimmee grass with these big worms did work well for bigger then average fish.

The smaller Anaconda has not done as well, the tail does get caught in the reeds or thick grass.  Might be a better bait to use on a Carolina-Rig or in more open water on a Shaky head.

If you want more action and noise on the rage shad take a carolina floater turn it around backwards. It is great for when the shad are schooling.

no problem but remember to let the fish tell ya what they like. they may not be hip to rage on that certain day.

I have been using the Strike King Rage Tail stuff since they released it almost. The frogs are amazing they kick up soooo much water but tend to last much longer than other style toads I have used.
The Craw, well it works and looks awesome. I like it mainly because while flipping it, its very durable the legs don't get caught up on grass and weeds and tear off like a lot of these other baits. Also I have caught a lot of bass while up on Wheeler swimming it.
The Anaconda is great too! I have caught lots of fish on this bait. I think its the way the tail is designed and almost has a slow whirlwind effect that bass can't resist. Not to mention just like all the others they are very strong.
I will say however, the Ocho is probably one of my favorites. The shape of it allows if to have a flutter effect on the fall which I think sometimes that give the bait the extra zang that our friend the black bass loves..I have outfished guys using this bait instead of the GY or other brands several times. I even have gone out when it seemed like nobody was catching fishing on a senko and cleaned up with it.
These baits are a little pricey but I think it is well worth it cause they will last longer than others. Clap

No, RageTail products are terrible.  In fact, you should just pack them all up and send them to me so I can "dispose" of them for you.  Smiley
All kidding aside, I am a big fan of the Rage Tail line.  The RT shad topwater bait in the pearl white and smoke colors is awesome when the topwater bite is on.  Have had good results with the toads and craws as well.

I've used the rage craw, frogs and shad, all 3 very good baits and can really trigger a tough bite at times.  But remember even though they may be good solid baits that doesnt mean they will produce everytime, the fish will let you know what they want and what they dont want.  Good solid baits though, I'm very pleased with them  Goin' Fishin' Clap

I had the good fortune of being selected by Steve Parks (Big O) to evaluate Rage Tail proto types long before they hit the market. The products I evaluated were the 10' Thumper Worm, Anaconda 7 & 10”, Rage Craw, Rage Lobster, Space Monkey, Rage Lizard, Smoking Rooster, & Rage Hawg.

Flipping-n-Pitching the Lobster, Space Monkey, & Smoking Rooter can get your arm broke!

There has been lots of talk about casting the Anaconda but after reviewing high speed still cameras and slowing down videos the problem 99% of the time was the angler whipping the lure on the cast. The Anaconda has proven more productive when rigged with keel weighted hooks vs. the standard Texas Rig with a bullet weight.

You will be hard pressed to find a better quality product or one with better action Wink
