I'm new, so I apologize if this has been discussed many times.  My favorite is the Norman Deep Little N in chartreuse with blue back.

Great question!  Clap

Don't ever worry about if something was asked before as we have new members join every day and there is nothing wrong with revisiting things to get both a new perspective on things and get new members involved in the discussion.   Wink

My favorite is the 200 and 300 bandit in chartreuse with blue back for most of my cranking but have been using the DD 22's in chartreuse purple back or the bandit 700's in some chartreuse brim colored crank on Toledo.

I use the DD22 and the 700's when I have to get d-e-e-p to get a bite, but for the most part the 200/300 bandits do well for me and IMHO those bandits are the 4wheel drive of crankbaits man I can crash them in to just about anything and get them to come right through.  Talked with a few folks and we are not sure if it is the action/design alone that helps get them to grind through the brush or the fact that if one does get hung up it's less than $5.00 so we are more prone to use them over the high end cranks.  Laugh

My favorite brand of crankbaits area Norman and my favorite model is the Fatboy and I also like the DD-22 for getting deeper.

I have also been using Rapala cranks in DT10 and DT16 models with some good results.

But you just can't beat the Normans for good quality and a great price.

I like the Strike King 4S in sexy shad. Caught a lot of fish with this plug. Rapala dt series are also an excellent choice.

Bomber Fat Free Shads, Strike King Series 5 and 6, and DD22's are my favorites.  Firetiger, Sexy Shad, and Citrus are the top colors I use.

For me it's a Rapala Jointed Shad Rap any of the craw patterns  JSR-5 or JSR-7 and second would be a Strike King's cranks size 4 thru 6 in sexy shad.

My favorites are Bandit 200 and 300's. Spring Craw and Khaki - brown back, Deep Little N in Tennessee shad and Bomber 6A and 7A in somekind of off the wall orange. Also Baby 1-, color don't seem to matter in these.

Magnum tadpolly in lemon lime, and the ripshad by reef runner in orange crush.  for shallow work I like the Xps Egg in crawfish boil. and for lipless, I like the Bayou boogie in baby bass.

I would have to say a Strike King Series 4 in Gizzard Shad and the Bomber Model B in Citruse. I have had some much luck down here in the south on the Gizzard shad its great. The Model B is the Square Bill which I throw when throwing around brush or laydowns less hang ups. I use the bandits also.

My goto crank the past 2 years has been the Strike King Series 5 in Sexy Shad, seems I can throw this thing anywhere anytime in any water conditions and get bit.  To go deep the DD22 (NutterShad, LavenderShad, SX Shad) is about unbeatable but had good catches on a Juhr Jensen Hotlips Exress 3/4 this year.  Got turned onto the Bagley Balsa DB3 this year and really like it as well, these are hard to come by so I bought what I could find whenever I found them.  As far as lipless cranks I have been using the Strike Kind RedEye shad the past few years with great success.

Thanks for all of the replies guys.  I have never tried the Bandits, but after all of the votes I think I will have to pick up a few.

I use nothing but Bandit crankbaits in 200 or 100 series! Mostly in the sexy shad color, chrome w/ black back, and silver with black back. The past few months I have been killing them on these cranks and I have never been a crank fisherman. I am a die hard spinnerbait fisherman, but used these cranks all day last weekend and won a tournament. I may have used the spinnerbait 20 times that day! The more I use them the more I kick myself in the behind for not using them a long time ago!
