No clouds no  Rain Rain Go Away. sunny with good temps. Time to go fishing. Me and the buddy (Steven) struck out for the local city lake with the boat in the back of my truck and all the time in the world to kill. Cool Fishin'
Morning started out kinda cool. Steven caught a little one before daybreak on a roadrunner. and then he caught another.
Score Steven 2 / me 0.
Kinda windy so i keep throwing my spinnerbaits then switch to some cranks then a buzzbait. had a hit on the buzz but tried to set hook to early. Steven catches another and then a beautiful crappie.
Score  Steven 4 / me 0.
he still has that dang roadrunner on.
I finally catch a dink on a strike king spinner. Clap
 Ranger's Flag then Steven lets me use one of his spinning rods so I can throw my homemade roadrunners.
Now its on. second cast i pull a nice out while im pulling the lure out of the water.
I finally manage to squeak out another nice one before the battery dies on our trolling motor.
Total for the day.
Steven 5 / me 3.
A tough day of fishing but still a fun day.
