Mud Buddy
« on: November 03, 2005, 05:39:09 AM »

Not sure if anyone has this motor or not, but a friend of mine bought one in the summer and is in love with it due to its ability to run in minimum water. Now for the hard parts, the tilt/trim on it is having serious issues. He has gone through three of them already, but the good thing is, the customer service there is OUTSTANDING. The President of the company personally called him and apologized for his misfoutanes. Just wondering if anyone else out there has one or has had any problems with them ;)

Got a buddy with one and he says its a 4X4 on the water. He jumps logs and gets back in some shallow creeks to duck hunt.

That is what he says too, 4x4 on the water, I wonder if it has anything to do with the water temp that is causing some of his issues. Three motors in one summer :shocking: But they keep giving them to him for free anyway, but it does put a damper when having to wait a week for a motor and the salmon are running up the shallow creeks :'(

Man, I'm learnin alot here Silver, I never knew they had T&T on one of those, most of em I have seen are pretty basic and real reliable.
Almost as good as an airboat, lots quieter, and cheeper too.
As far as I know the only thing better is a push pole.

I don't think temp is a problem, it gets pretty cold down here around duck and dear season.

Ya aint usin it to chop Ice are you.  :roll2:
