Laurie -

Lower Red Lake gets fished very little for bass as Red Lake Indian Reservation surrounds it.  Access is a problem.  Upper gets alot of action - winter mostly for pike and crappie.  Some Big slab crappie get pulled through the ice and sure draw the crowds.

it can't be fished unless you are an indian !!!
