Factory Pond- 8/30-8/31

Following the hurricane I had no power for almost 3 days. With nothing to do around the house, I found yet another excuse to go fishing. I had been raving about Factory to my sister so she got a 3-day license and headed to Hanover. I told her I wasn't sure the fish would be biting because of the storm, but she just wanted to check it out. Both days were perfect for fishing in terms of weather, 87 degrees, some cloud cover, and limited wind. Obviously the water level was way up, and the current was moving quickly. The first day there was very little activity. We ended up with 2 bass. The second day things seem to live up a bit. We got 5 bass and 3 pickerel, all very shallow. We used frogs almost exclusively, except for the few minutes I spent lobbing a spinnerbait at the dam.
