Seat Post Storage
« on: January 25, 2012, 07:17:32 PM »

Okay I posted this on another thread and someone suggested I put it here as well.  I am cheap and an engineer, so I am always looking for an easy way to do something.  So far this has worked well.  I cut a hole in the bottom of the can with a utility knife trimmed it with snips and stuck the seat post through it.  This is the short plastic Folgers can, and yes I used a low caffeine brand for health reasons!  Not really it is what I had lying around.

Love it. BUT RED  :-\  on your boat? Man invest $5 for a can of rustoleum. A color that matches your boat  ;)

It has faded!  I thought about the Rustoleum for plastic, but never got around to it!
