Fished farm pond/lake for about 3 hours 3/23 in the afternoon.  Water temperature when i started as already 63*.  Caught 10 fish ranging in size from a super dink that was maybe 10 inches long to a nice 2.5 pounder.  Caught fish on white spinnerbait, Slug-go, and blue backed Rapala countdown minnow bait.  All fish were healthy and strong.  The 2.5 pounder was a mule.  Nice lake, lots of shore minnows, and cruising bluegill and bass visible in the water.

Fishing this lake in the summer may be an issue.  It seems quite shallow and has a lot of string algae in it.  It was difficult to fish any baits deeper than 6 feet as the bait would quickly pick up some string algae.  Might have to try drop shots or Carolina rigs and see what impact the string algae has on those.

Here's the 2.5 pounder which i caught on the Rapala countdown minnow.
