                                Welcome to Shreveport Bass Club
Rules: All decisions by tournament officials will be final. The tournament official may make a change at his discretion or when the safety of angler is in question.
Sportsmanship: All anglers are expected to practice courtesy, safety, and follow all local and state laws. Anyone not doing so will be disqualified.
Eligibility: This is a Bi-monthly OPEN tournament. You may join the day of the tournament before take off. You may fish by yourself or with a partner. Weights are counted as teams. No one other than the paid angler(s) will be allowed in the boat during the tournament. Anglers must have a valid fishing license in their possession during the hours of the tournament. 
Bait and Tackle: Only artificial lures may be used with the exception of pork rinds and liquid bait attractant. NO LIVE BAIT. No Trolling. While fishing, anglers may only have one rod per person in the water.
Lakes: Lakes to be fished are by majority vote by the club members. Anglers must be able to drive into any waters they fish. Anglers must fish from the boat.
Trailering: No trailering is allowed unless approved by officials the morning of the tournament.
Releasing of Fish: We like to practice catch and release, but we are not against taking home a few good cooking fish.
Late Penalty: Please be on time for weigh in. 10 minutes late will result in disqualification.
Safety: We recommend that all anglers wear a life jacket while the main engine is running, but is NOT a requirement.
Scoring Fish: 5 Fish Per Boat. All anglers MUST follow all lake rules and regulations, including minimum lengths and slot limits. Fish not legal to keep will NOT be scored, and any dead fish will have 1/2 lb penalty deducted from total weight per fish.
Time:Tournaments will be twice a month. Sunday for the full day and Wednesday is the evening tournament. Take off times will be 15 minutes before daylight. Weigh in will be at 3p.m. The evening tournament will be 5:30 to 8:00 during summer hours.
Ties: Any ties between the top placing anglers will be broken by whoever has the heaviest single fish.
Money: Entry Fee per boat, per tournament is $40.00. Payouts will be as followed. First – 50%     Second – 30%      Third – 20%

There's always the $10 big bass entry. Big bass is NOT a requirement. All money must be given to the tournament official BEFORE takeoff.
