Hey everyone, sorry I have not been visiting here much lately, I've been wearing the crappie out. The spawn is all but over here and the fish have moved out to deeper water around ledges and cover. We have been catching them in 7' to 9' of 78 degree water at around 4.5' to 6' deep with minnows and jigs around dead timber and stumps. The fish will hold there until the surface temperature reaches anywhere from the low 80's to mid 80's and then will proceed to migrate back into even deeper areas and most will migrate back into the main rivers. It's been fun my friends to say the least. It will get tough by the end of May and I will have to go back to drop shoting the river ledges until this coming Fall.

Thanks for the info, I'm hoping to do some playing with the crappie this weekend! Depends on the thumb though.
