Spoons are most commonly used in Winter early Spring when the fish are holding in deeper water. If the fish are schooling in deeper water jigging is a great way to get a reaction bite and can be a tremendous amount of fun.
Spinners can be used as an alternitive to a spinnerbait when the fish are biting a smaller profile bait possibly in colder water or post front.
Tip: You can use a perminent marker to lable the size of your spoon for easy identification. You can also use millar stickers to give your spoon a more bait like look.
