Upper Chesapeake Bay & Susquehanna Flats Fishing Report The best producing baits for us this week have been; Case Plastics Sweet P’s in the Roadkill color with the paddle dipped in Chartreuse dip-in-dye, rigged on a ¼ ounce Dave’s Tournament Tackle Spot Hopper jig head. The ¼ ounce ChatterBait is earning it’s keep this week also in the Black & Blue color (the only problem is my ChatterBaits are starting to show signs of wear the skirts & plastic trailers are sliding down the hook easily but I am applying one drop of the Pro’s-Soft Bait Glue to fix this problem). The best producing bait of them all this week is a 4 inch Ketchum Baits ring worm, I refer to this worm as my Eastern Shore color worm (it is a pumpkinseed colored body with gold flake and a Chartreuse flake tail) the bad news is when I went to order some more of them this week it seems that they are discontinued, so I have been using my Pro’s Soft-Bait Glue to repair them to try and conserve the ones I have left.
