 Old Hickory, TN - Fishing Report The young man with the big smile is Mr. Connor Smith-son of Mr. & Mrs. Warren Smith. Connor isn't just the average 5 year old....he's a great fisherman already! Not only can Connor cast like he's in is teens he can also lift them up over the rail too! His knowledge of baits and how they are suppose to be used is uncanny. Connor will be quick to tell you his favorite bait is a mid-range crankbait----- if you were with us you would soon know why. I hope I can get him to come to Bass Pro Shops on August 12-2006 while the Tennessee Bass Guides Team is there holding seminars to give us a little insight into what a 5 year old likes about bass fishing. You won't want to miss that. What started out to be a full day trip ended in about 4 1/2 hours because it was just plain hot, I don't know who got sleepier-Me or Connor. But in that short 4 1/2 hours we managed to catch 50 or more Largemouth-Smallmouth and White Bass (oh yes 1 drum) on a variety of crank baits.
