Middle TN Streems, Fishing Report Middle TN Streems July 20-25 The last 5 days we have had some great wading trips. Saturday morning early was slow with Thunderstorms running us off the water for an hour we still managed to catch a few smallies and Rock Bass before quitting by 2 pm so I could do some evening bluegill fishing with the family. Earlier in the week Becca and I got to get out with her father Terry Kien. He had come from Montana to
shoot in the National Silhouette Championships in Pennsylvania and stopped back in Tennessee to visit family. Congrats to placing in the top ten in all his competitions in his division.Terry is holding the two largest fish he caught in 2 .5 hours of fishing. Again I sound like a broken record but Case Jacks Worms( June Bug and the Blue Flake) and creekminnows have been the go to baits for the smallies and Case Hellgrammites for the Rock Bass. The afternoons are the ticket right now for the best action (5pm till dark) but the streams will give up fish all day long even in the hottest part of the day. If you would like to wade a stream and learn how awesome streams can be with out the hustle and bustle of our lakes give me a shout. Mike Dial Stream Smallmouth Guide www.tennesseebassguides.com
