Mike is a staff administrator for the UltimateBass.com.Hello and welcome to UltimateBass.com. I'm Mike Noble, a retired Louisiana state employee living in Benton, LA and a member of UltimateBass.com since its inception. Born and raised in Baton Rouge, LA, I graduated from Central High School in 1971 and received a degree from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA in 1975. I spent 30 1/2 years as an auditor, with 26 years as an external auditor and 4 1/2 years as the internal auditor for LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA. I have 2 children, a son (and daughter-in-law) living in Atlanta, Georgia and a daughter living in Jacksonville, Florida.

Home State: Louisiana
Home Lake: Cross Lake Reservoir, Shreveport LA, Cypress Bayou and Black Bayou Reservoirs, Benton LA
Days on the Water:150 plus days a year
Years Fishing Experience: Too many to count...but many more to go

My fishing started at the age of 6 with guidance from my father and I have been fishing ever since. Relocating to northwest Louisiana put me in the middle of great bass fishing. There are about 7 bodies of water within an hour drive of my house, but my favorite place to fish is Cross Lake in Shreveport, LA. Historically I have spent approximately 75 to 100 days per year fishing, but with the new retirement status my plans are to be on the water in excess of 150 days per year. Even though my fishing days began at age 6, I didn't start fishing on a regular basis until college. I had an aluminum boat chained and locked to a tree on Sibley Lake in Natchitoches and carried an outboard motor, gas can, paddle, tacklebox, and rods and reels in the trunk of my car. Tournament fishing began in 1990 with a local bass club. Since then, I have fished in 4 different clubs and in 6 different local circuits. I also fish open tournaments as often as possible. During my fishing career, I have fished lakes in Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee and North Carolina; so I only have 44 more states to cover. When I'm on the water, I prefer fishing a Terminator spinnerbait but I'm also enjoy pitching Gene Larew soft plastics and casting top water lures. I fished Nitro boats from 1995 to early 2006, but changed to Legend Bass Boats in February 2006.  I anticipate being in a Legend for many years to come.
