The Improved Clinch Knot is an old stand by. Used to attach lures, swivels and hooks to your line.
 |
1. Pass line through eye of hook, swivel or lure. Double back and make five turns around the standing line. |

2. While holding coils in place thread tag end of line through the first loop just above the eye, then through big loop as shown. |
 |
3. Hold tag end and standing line while coils are pulled up. Make sure that coils are in a spiral and not lapping over each other. Wet line and slide tight against eye. Trim tag end of line. |
