I spent the day with Michael Bailey and his son Jason on Tim's Ford. We put in at 4:45am and ran immediately to our first stop. We had 8 fish on and put 4 of the 8 in the boat. It was interesting that we couldn't get a spinner bait bite but they would nail a DT 14 Crank Bait and a Prowler Soft Shad dipped in JJ's Magic www.prowlerlures.com www.jjsmagic.com . We moved two or three other times and found several more fish in a cove chasing shad. 2 times in this cove we had 5 or 6 more Smallmouth following the one we had hooked. A couple more move and we found fish again, catching and releasing 6 on that stop. We were fortunate that we had a good over cast day to work with and caught fish up to 1:00pm when we left the lake.
