Salamander Sinkers
by Shawn, March 3, 2010
These Sinkers are a very cool addition to Carolina rig fishing. Especially in the spring when you can go from fishing the bottom of a drain one minute to fishing the flats on either side the next.
1. Pro's - they come through the grass well and are fairly easy to adjust the weight on. A big plus if you are targeting fish in the grass!
2. Cons - The feel for the bottom on these weights is much less than a naked tungsten weight and can make it a little harder to define an area when you are searching for a sweet spot. Occasionally coon tail would stick to the front of the weight making the feel spongy.
Overall I think these are a good product and definitely could find their place in my springtime arsenal!
