The Ultimate Bass Tackle Reviews is a free service provided for the bass fishing community. Any company is welcome to submit their product for review in the Ultimate Bass Tackle Reviews. It is unique as only the manufacturer can enter their products into the system and they will have almost full control over what goes into it and how the reviews are handled. I look forward to this being a project that is a benefit to the bass fishing industry as a whole for a long time to come.

You will receive an email once your product is submitted and approved. During the approval process I will check for spelling errors and I will enter in the meta data that is relevant to the product. At a later date I will be using the search engines to search for your product and if I find that it is not listed as being on our page I may adjust the meta data and that will cause you to get an email letting you know that I have updated your product listing.

You will also get an email each time someone does a review of your product and I approve it. Three very important things... One, you know right away that there is a new review and you know what it says. Two, You can comment on the review right to that person to answer any question that they may have had or to address and issues they may have had and Three, if there is something wrong with the review you can report it to me with the click of your mouse and we can take care of the issue.

Listings

There are some basic rules that all products must comply with to qualify for inclusion in the tackle reviews.

• All products must be readily available for purchase to the general public either via an online store or in major retail stores.
• Owners may not imply in any way that inclusion in the Ultimate Bass Tackle Reviews constitutes endorsement by Ultimate Bass.
• We do not list products that link out to stores or websites unless owned by the manufacturer.
• All content including reviews and product descriptions must be in English.
• Ultimate Bass as a whole is centered around bass fishing and fostering growth of our sport in a positive light in every aspect. Please use the review area for its intended purpose and submit only products that are bass fishing related and are of good taste.
• The links that you enter that lead to your store should link each product to its specific page in your store or catalogue and not to your main site page.
• The Ultimate Bass Reviews Team is able to un-publish any product if a situation warrants it.

Product listings that infringe upon one or more of the criteria listed above will not be considered for inclusion in the Ultimate Bass Product Reviews. In such cases the manufacturer will be informed of the reason for the rejection.

Any listings that is found to be in conflict with the rules will:

• Be immediately deactivated (unpublished).
• Manufacturer will be informed of the reason and allowed 14 days to either rectify the problem or request removal from the reviews.
• If no reply is received in 14 days, the product will be permanently removed from the Ultimate Bass Tackle Reviews.

Reviews

A review is a serious examination of a person's experience with an product which is presented on the Ultimate Bass Tackle Reviews. Praise, difficulties, or comparisons with other products are all valid parts of a review, including the reasons why.

Reviews must be honest, unsolicited and uncompensated.

Self promotion, by creating unnecessary links to personal/business sites, shouldn't be part of a review for any product.

A review is not a location for requests for support. Support question should be taken to the Manufacturer's Customer Service department. Please stay courteous and don’t use any offensive language. After finishing, a review will be accepted by a member of the Ultimate Bass Tackle Review team if it abides by the guidelines.

There is a possibility that a review contains a statement which is inaccurate. For example, this can happen if a new version of an product fixes an outstanding issue, or if the statement isn't valid for another reason. We hold the right to withdraw a written review after it has been put online.

If you feel that a review contains incorrect information, please contact the Review Team at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it . If a review poses a problem in some way, the review will be pulled offline. An investigation will follow and after investigating, it is both possible that the review is being kept offline, or that the review is put online again.

In no circumstances will personal information from Ultimate Bass Tackle Review members be shared with 3rd parties, unless this is the direct wish of said member.

The Ultimate Bass Review Team reserves the right to edit and moderate all reviews to make sure their content is appropriate for publication on the site.

Voting

A user can only vote once per product. Please do not vote until you've used a product thoroughly, making sure you have had time to fish it appropriately.

• It is not allowed for a any person to solely rate a product to artificially inflate the rating or vote count.
• It is not allowed for the same person to have more than one account on the Ultimate Bass Tackle Reviews.
• It is not allowed for product Manufacturers to give negative votes to other products who are in completion for rating ranks, or to submit votes to products which offer similar functionality.
• A product manufacturer, his family and\or prostaff are not allowed to vote on products from that manufacturer.

If any of the above rules are broken by an product manufacturer who has products on the Ultimate Bass Tackle Reviews, all products owned by the said manufacturer will be unpublished from the Ultimate Bass Tackle Reviews for a time set by the Ultimate Bass Reviews Team (starting from one month to infinity).

Promoting Your Product Listings

This is an exception to the above rules on review soliciting. Manufacturer may promote their listing by using the following text:

"If you use [PRODUCT NAME], please post a rating and a review at the Ultimate Bass Tackle Reviews."

[PRODUCT NAME] is to be replaced with the name of the manufacturers product and the text may be linked to t he listing on the Ultimate Bass Tackle Reviews. To ensure fairness and accuracy in votes and reviews, deviation from this text is not allowed.
