The Rod Glove
by Allen Teer, November 9, 2010
Before I got my Rod Gloves, I would struggle getting rods out of the boat locker or tow vehicle as the vibrations of each tangled the rods together. I was always having bent eyes, missing inserts, etc., until I found this product. The rod glove is a tight knit sleeve that extends over the length of your rod down to the hook keeper, or just above it. The ease of putting them on or taking them off takes only seconds. It is great for the new Micro Guide rods also as the weave of the fabric is tighter than the other sleeves I have seen. No eyes poking through the fabric on these gloves. Now, I have no more tangled rods, and my costly investments are fully protected whether riding on the boat, in the tow vehicle or strapped on when I'm co-angling. The gloves come in so many different colors that it is easy to color code your rods. If that doesn't suit you, the Rod Glove has a tag that can slide over the sleeve, stating what type rod is in the glove. Crankbait, worm, etc. These can be purchased individually or in variety packs that contain each specific style. If you want to go a step further, The Rod Glove can print your name or company logo on the gloves. For less that 10.00 ea. and for the protection they afford, this is a great investment for the serious angler.
