I really started trying fishing jigs last year. I had some success with another manufacturer but I had a problem losing fish at times. I recently ordered some Omega jigs and was able to use them in my last club Tournament. I was using the 1/2 ounce Black and Blue Omega Flipping jig with a matching Sweat Beaver. I only had one fish (i hadn't tried the jigs yet) in the boat at 2:00pm and weigh in was at 3:00. I stopped in a cove with scattered trees and made about 5 pitches and ended up with two fish. I was most impressed with how well the fish were hooked right between the eyes. My partner tied on a 1/2 ounce Texas craw colored fishing behind me and also landed two fish in the same time frame. My partner is only 14 years old and these were his first two fish he has ever caught on jigs. We ended up placing 3rd in the tournament. I think you have a life long customer in him now.
