The inspired design and construction excellence of the Okuma Serrano is the result of Okuma’s fishery participation and understanding taking the lead on design. Optimized for harsh saltwater conditions, each component addresses not only corrosion resistance, but also the delivery of the drive and drag system strength necessary to take on the most powerful inshore species. Being the lightest, and strongest, and most durable low-profile baitcast reel in the lineup, Serrano specifications are impressive, but even more so is the experience of actually fishing it. Find total comfort in the ergonomic design, in-swept handle and oversized knobs. Take pride in effortless casting. Experience the speed and power of Serrano’s responsiveness. Pair Serrano with a C3 rod for a premium matched system, and turn it loose on Stripers, Redfish, Trout, Bonefish, Permit and Calicos, or the complete range of freshwater species.

4/5 I just recently purchased a Serrano. Everything about this reel is awesome. I was fortunate enough to land a big fish while I was out. The drag was really smooth. Casting is a breeze and this reel performs great! The anti-reverse is good, but not as good as the Revo's...but then again almost all high end reels that I've played with don't match the revo when when it comes down to anti-reverse feel. The Serrano is silky smooth! If you're thinking about buying one...do it! You will not be disappointed. This reel feels quite similar to the Shimano Curado. But cosmetically the Serrano's got the curado beat!
