This is a great reel and a step up from the previous model in terms of being lighter and smoother than the previous model. The drag is great and very smooth when fighting a fish allowing you to play a big fish on lighter line without having to worry if the drag is smooth and consistent. The reel has handled its share of both Small and Largemouth without a problem. The fit and finish are also very nice and I really like the new color even though it has nothing to do with the performance.
