Maybe I'm one of the few left that still loves the QuickFire Trigger. I know the drawback is the lack of anti reverse on hook sets but that doesn't seem to be an issue for me. A little heavier than some other, this is still a quality reel with smooth drag. And the price is reasonable also. Double paddle handle takes a bit of getting used to but worth it.

I bought 2 of these last year, the 2500 rear drag models. Work great for spinnerbaits and lightweight cranks. The trigger makes it easier to throw it back out as soon as you get it in, and you don't have to worry about the bail being lined up with your finger all the time. Only problem I had with them is the little piece of plastic on the trigger got wore out in one season on 1 of them. Causing the bail to not want to open all the way when using the trigger.
