Having the Rod Glove really make my life simpler and allows me to protect my rods while at the same time, keep them organized and identifiable. I don't even know how I lived without them before!

Simply put, the best investment an angler can make. The Rod Glove allows us to save on both time and money - important factors whether tournament fishing or recreational fishing. The product has allowed me to protect my investment, while at the same time saving me tons of time on the water by color coding for different technique. No more guessing when reaching into the rod locker. Two huge thumbs up!

If you are serious about fishing, you no doubt have several rods, and if your fanatical like me, you may have 10 or more rods in the boat at any one time. You wont believe how easy these Rod Gloves make storing your rods in the locker. More importantly, when you need that spinnerbait rod that's way at the bottom of the locker, and you want it in a hurry, just reach in , and pull it out. Its amazing. The best part is that if the hooks get snagged, you just expand the mesh of the Rod Glove and it slides right out. They go on, and off in seconds. My partner and I can now fit an extra 5 rods in our locker. What used to be a 20 minute untangling job after a bouncy run through the chop is now 20 minutes of fishing. What more do i need to say? I will never put another rod in the locker without a Glove. Try these things!!!

For starters I was taking at least one rod a week into the shop to have a broken guide replaced. I know allot of guys remove the rod holders from their locker because of this, but I like the organization the holders provide. A friend suggested I try using rod covers, so I ran right up to the local giant "outdoor" products store that sells all kinds of "outdoor" products from around the "world" and bought their store brand. Pretty poor quality from the start, not allot of protection from breaking guides, and I've got enough stuff in my boat without having to carry a bag of spare rubber bands.
Moved up to product similar to The Rod Glove to protect all my "sticks". Good product, but the big square with the grommet at the end made them a hassle to get in and out of the rod holder holes. I guess they'd be great if you wanted to hang your rods on a nail.
I saw a post on Bass Boat Central from Jim about his new product The Rod Glove with a picture. I figured I'd give it a shot so i ordered a few to try them out.
I can honestly say, I haven't broken a guide since I started using them. They slide easily in and out of the rod holders in my rod locker (Stratos) and even protect the rods when I'm banging them around in and out of the boat. My wife got jealous and I had to buy some for her rods as well.
Everyone I've showed them to likes them, and those that have purchased them love them. Mine have already paid for themselves in rod repair savings. A quality product made and sold by a quality company!

I have a bunch of'em and love'em. Easy on and off and really do a good job of protecting my rods. One gave me a bit of trouble when I got a crankbait hook caught in it (ended up cutting it out) but overall, I think the are an outstanding product!!

When I go the opportunity to get on the Rod Glove Pro staff I jumped on it. I had used other brands of rod wraps in the past and one day bought a couple of rod gloves. They were different than the other products I had used. I really liked the tapered ends. It made getting my rods into the holes of my rod organizer in my boat. The two sizes come in handy if you use several different length rods. My Dobyns rods are my most important tools and I like to keep them protected. The Rod glove is the best I have found. If you are going to have expensive tools you need to take care of them.

I've been using my Rod Gloves since March of this year and I wonder how I got by without them before. Super efficient for protecting any rod (baitcaster or spinning). Comes in darn near any color you'd want; the material provides maximum protection, yet its pliable enough to easily remove any hooks that get caught in the weave. The price is very modest for the protection it provides. Useful for boaters that don't have rod racks in their lockers and makes getting rods in and out of rod racks super slick. Also great for the non-boater on the go. Color code your rods model or technique for easy selection.
If there's one fishing accessory I'd recommend you add to your Christmas list it's The Rod Glove. Go get you or your favorite fisherman some today.

I spent the past season using Rod Gloves as both an angler and a co-angler, and would not be without them now. Every one of my rods has a Rod Glove on it at all times, whether I am storing them or using them. They slip on and off easily, and freeing hooks from them is hassle free, and I never have to deal with tangled lines anymore. Identifying baits and/or specific action rods is a time saver during tournaments that I have really come to enjoy.
They are an affordable, convenient and effective way to protect your investment, and the custom stamping option is an added bonus. I'd highly recommend then to anyone, whether you are a tournament angler or a weekend warrior!!!

This has been my first full year of using the Rod Glove. I'm at almost a loss for words when it comes to explaining how much I like this product. I have spent years looking for that Rod protection that fits all the criteria such as affordability, function, looks and ease. Lets face it in today's fishing tackle industry our rods seem to be going high end in material and cost and we need to protect that investment, granted, most come with a lifetime warranty, but who wants that hassle. I come to have sort of a bond with a rod after a while. The grime on that handle tends to have that sort of comfort feel and the way it has battled that Hawg time and time again without letting you down. The Rod Glove keeps that feeling with that rod.
The multitude of colors allows the tournament savvy angler as well as the weekend angler to color code techniques as well as anything else they have in mind. It is endless to how you can arrange this. I just carried over 50 rods in both lockers on an out of Province tournament without one tangle and being able to grab that rod in a split second was a contributing factor to us cashing a cheque because of that. Now with the custom printing and this new technique tag system coming out, well need I say more. Not having one of these is like buying a Bass Boat without a trolling motor or Sonar.
One other thing is that the customer service is bar none. I run my own Construction Business and full well know how service makes or breaks a business, sadly alot of Business customer service skills and detail to us, (the people who buy the product) has went the way of the dinosaur, I'm glad to say this is not the case for the Rod Glove. Everyone gets the same attention to detail and Satisfaction no matter if you buy one or 100. This is what sets them apart from the rest, and the fact that like everyone else they have not went over seas to outsourcing. Proudly still made here and will for sure without a doubt continue to be.
Don't take my word for it though, go out and try one for yourself. You will not be disappointed.

I've always used some type of rod cover. Tried various nylon ones but if they got wet, they took forever to dry out and if you put them in your rod locker wet, the entire locker became damp. Not good. As well, you had to tie them to the rod or use a elastic strap to keep them on the rod. Not ideal. When I first saw the Rod Glove, I knew it was the solution for me. Easy to slip on any rod, easy to take off but they stay put. The design makes it very easy to slip into any rod organizer in your boats rod locker and the assortment of colors makes it very easy to color code your rods. Protect your investment with The Rod Glove. You will not be disappointed.

One of the most exciting things in the world is to watch a company grow from a small home based business into a legitimate force in the fishing industry.I have been fortunate enough to use The Rod Gloves from the beginning and can't express to you enough the value of these products. Not only do The Rod Gloves protect your expensive investments but they also can be customized to fit just about anyone's color scheme or company logo through their unique branding process.I have used them for a year now and can tell you first hand that they are a great inexpensive investment that not only provide quality protection but are eye catching as well.A great product.

Before I got my Rod Gloves, I would struggle getting rods out of the boat locker or tow vehicle as the vibrations of each tangled the rods together. I was always having bent eyes, missing inserts, etc., until I found this product. The rod glove is a tight knit sleeve that extends over the length of your rod down to the hook keeper, or just above it. The ease of putting them on or taking them off takes only seconds. It is great for the new Micro Guide rods also as the weave of the fabric is tighter than the other sleeves I have seen. No eyes poking through the fabric on these gloves. Now, I have no more tangled rods, and my costly investments are fully protected whether riding on the boat, in the tow vehicle or strapped on when I'm co-angling. The gloves come in so many different colors that it is easy to color code your rods. If that doesn't suit you, the Rod Glove has a tag that can slide over the sleeve, stating what type rod is in the glove. Crankbait, worm, etc. These can be purchased individually or in variety packs that contain each specific style. If you want to go a step further, The Rod Glove can print your name or company logo on the gloves. For less that 10.00 ea. and for the protection they afford, this is a great investment for the serious angler.

A lot of rod lockers have a short slip or tube you slide you rod into and a lot of times your guides will catch on these costing you valuable time on the water either fun fishing or in a tournament. Many tournament anglers will not take there rods out until they get to there first spot as not to reveal lures and techniques they are using in that tournament. On the co-angler or non boater side what can be more frustrating then trying to get your rods untangled when you and your boater arrive to your first spot and he's already made several cast and your still untangling. Well the rod glove takes care of all of this as they do not tangle. Time is crucial during any tournament and even especially if you have made a long run to that special spot. These have saved me so much time. Not to mention they protect your equipment which you worked so hard to purchase. How i never used them in the past is just amazing.

Amazing product that i cannot be without anymore. Used to go nuts untangling rods in the rod locker and even broke a few rods. Now i can color coordinate my rods by techniques and never have any issues. Every rod needs a rod glove!

If you folks haven't tried The Rod Glove yet, your really missing out. I have used the nylon sock type, cloth type, and even the pleather (fake leather)type. They all have one thing in common.......If you get a hook stuck through them you have to cut it out. With the Rod Glove all you have to do is expand the sleeve and the hook comes right out. No cutting and ruining your rod sleeves. Another thing is, it really does save time on the water during a tournament. If your like me and you have 6 rods on the deck and another 4 or 5 in the locker. You need to get to that one rod in the locker with hopes that it isn't tangled up with other rods, hooks stuck into carpet or even the dreaded broken tip. With The Rod Glove all of those worries are left behind. Now the time taken to untangle rods and cut hooks out of carpet can be spent on putting fish in the boat. Rod Gloves tapered tip really helps in protecting your rod tips as well as it makes sliding rod's into the rod locker easy. These things work great I would recommend them to anyone who fishes. Not just tournament anglers but to anyone who wants to protect their investment in their gear.

This product is a must have for the tournament angler and co-angler. Great quality and fair priced protection for high priced rods. Make storing and removal safer and faster with guaranteed protection of the guides. Easy transporting of the rods with nothing to get tangled or damaged. Now with technique specific tags will make rod choices a breeze.
