EL Grande hatch match stick

The Hatch-Match Stick is an 5.25" soft plastic stick bait with a cigar profile. The Hatch-Match stick has added a scale pattern for a more lifelike presentation. Although a soft plastic, the Hatch-Match is durable. The Hatch-Match Stick is our first lure offered in Triple Lamination, which is where the Hatch-Match name derives. Most food sources for our target, the large and smallmouth bass, have three primary colors. We have developed a soft plastic that now has these three primary colors and without a doubt, more closely matches forage fish than any other soft plastic stick on the market. As testimony to this approach, one only has to look at the most popular crankbaits and swimbaits. Almost all have three primary colors. Now, the fisherman can boost their arsenal with realistic color versions for their bodies of water. We started handpouring triple laminates on a full round mold several years ago and could not keep up with demand. We have found the means to produce these and offer them at affordable levels and still meet demand. There is no wrong way to fish a Hatch-Match Stick. You can Texas Rig, Wacky Rig, Carolina Rig, Flick Shake, and several other techniques.

I personally fish the tidal Potomac on a regular basis in both the tournament atmosphere, as a part of a non-profit bass club based here in Northern Virginia, as well as leisurely with a good friend of mine on weekends that we don't have a tournament. The club I'm in has a wide variety of anglers, but the majority of which are 'seasoned' vets who have been fishing all their lives and CONSISTANTLY pull out 5 fish limits. This past weekend my buddy and I fished together in a non-team based tournament, and tied for 4th with 9.3 lbs. While this is considered a slow tournament with only 7 of the 16 people who entered pulled in a 5 fish limit, my buddy being 1 of those guys. While I did not pull in a limit, I did land 4 keepers and took home BIG BASS of the tourney with a hog weighing in at 4.7 lbs.
What stood out to me the most is that 8 of the 9 keepers that my buddy and I hauled in this past Saturday were all caught on a Baby Bass Hatch-Match-Stick, including the 4.7 lb chunk. I've fished 5 tournaments on the Potomac since I stumbled across these awesome baits (thank you Ultimatebass.com) and they have landed keepers in EVERY tournament I've been involved with, whether it be myself, or my buddy pullin' them in. These things are awesome, and not only have I gone back and ordered more of the Baby Bass, but other colors as well. In addition to myself, my buddy has COMPLETELY fallen IN LOVE with these baits, having ordered 10+ packs a couple weeks ago. Both of us keep a rod rigged up with it and on the deck within reach at all times. Thank you El Grande, you've earned customers for life in Northern Virginia, and we're definitely spreading the word.

If you are sick of paying high prices of those other stick baits that get ripped up after one fish or torn so bad they won’t stay on the hook during a hard cast do yourself a favor and check out the Hatch-Match Stick from EL Grande.
This bait is just over 5" long and very resilient for as soft as it is, add the unique scale pattern to the Triple Lamination process & the Hatch-Match-Stick is a true match for the hatch in waters all over the nation at an affordable price.
I love rigging these TX style weightless or used on a Carolina Rig, Wacky Rig with some suspend dots attached to the hook but as a power fisherman my favorite is on a flick shake style jig head wacky style. For me I can cover a lot of water looking for those active fish and not have to worry about the baits falling apart or for the hook and yet still get the shimmy fall stick baits are so well known for.
Hope you enjoy them as much as I have.
