Secret Weapon Buzzbait
Buzzbait anglers want a lure that runs true whether it's burned or crawled, emits fish-calling noise, and leaves a good gap between hook point and blade. This is it!
Each Secret Weapon buzzbait features an in-line Quick-clip spinner blade attachment behind the buzz prop. Fish zero in on that flashing, churning blade just above the Mustad UltraPoint, long-shaft, wide-gap hook.
On the strike, the blade folds out of the way for an unobstructed hook set, resulting in a higher hookup ratio. Every lure comes with a #3/0 Mustad trailer hook, rigged with plastic tubing over the eye. Use it to further increase your chance of sticking that bait-slashing bass, pike, or redfish. Available in 3/16-, 5/16- and 9/16-ounce weights and 14 patterns.

I have been a buzz bait fan all my life, I just love the blow ups. After using the Secret Weapon line I have found my hook up ratio is much better!
I believe the bass go for the blade trailing behind the buzzer and get the hook more often. Probably the best part of this system is being able to change it without changing out lures. It saves time! My favorite part is the way the buzzer travels through the water, no matter if I'm barely moving it or burning it, the Secret Weapon Buzz Bait stays true in the water.

I don't throw a lot of buzzbaits for the simple reason they're a low percentage hookup lure. Well, I've been using the Secret Weapon Buzzbait and I really like the way I can customize it to get the exact lure I want. Plus with the quick change blade, I can change the trailing blade to run the lure as fast or as slow as I want. This definitely changes the hookup percentages.
