I'd been looking for a spinner bait that had a little smaller profile with a realistic head and colors. I found it with this spinner bait.
The half oz head lets you cast a mile and also into and under those hard to get to areas. Plus, it comes through heavy cover better than any spinner bait I've used.
On the ones I have, I've played with the blade set up for different depths and retrieve speeds. I have seven. All set up different but on one, I put a larger #5 willow as a primary blade and switched out the colorado blade for a #2 willow. Of course I have one that is set up just like I got it. This set up works well when you want to fish a spinnerbait in deeper water, like a point or hump.
The Gissard shad is my favorite color due to the fact that our local lakes and rivers are loaded with Gissard and Threadfin shad. It looks like the natural food source.
Whether you throw it into a clump of trees and bring it back slow or working it quick on a drop-off in 12 ft of water this bait works.
I recommend this spinner bait 100%. WOW! Thanks MOAB.
