I am a die-hard spinnerbait fisherman and I've tried many other brands before stumbling upon Secret Weapon QuickStrike spinnerbaits.

I was always tweaking and tuning other baits, changing blades and skirts to get the EXACT lure that I wanted. In the boat, this resulted in broken thumbnails or split ring pliers dropped overboard when making the changes on the fly. Plus, it wasn't a "quick" change! Now, I can easily change the blades in seconds, without tools and no more broken thumbnails!

The lures are well constructed. The finish on the heads appears to be a baked powder coat, so the heads withstand banging on rocks and logs without losing the paint like other lures. Constructed on a heavy wire frame, I have even caught muskies on these bass lures and they hold up well to thirty pound fish! The lures have a great, heavy duty hook and I like that the blades do not interfere when the fish strikes.

With weight and storage space in boats always being an issue, I've found that I now carry a lot less lures in the boat, but I have far more combinations of colors and blade configurations than I ever did in the past.

The only complaint that I do have is if I run the lure through filamentous algae. It can be a bit of a bugger to clean that goo from the blade attachment. But the way these lures catch fish, I can deal with that!

Now, there are no other kinds of spinnerbaits in my boat but Secret Weapons. The others I gave away.
