This is a great recipe.
2 lbs. shredded chedder cheese
1 med. onion {chopped or ground finely}
1 1/2 tablespoonsGround Red pepper
1 1/2 tablespoon Garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 12 oz stale beer

Beer can be boiled to stale it and it works best for blending.
Put all the ingrediants in large mixing bowl.
Pour in beer and mix with mixer to desired texture.
Best enjoyed with Ritz crackers.
You may increase or decrease the heat by adding or reducing the garlic powder and red pepper.
This is real popular around my house during this time of the year.

Someone brought beer cheese over for football last year..

my hubby hated it.. and he eats Limburger.  :surrender:

it was store bought beer cheese though, I wonder if there is a difference?

Even if you've been fishing for 3 hours
and haven't gotten anything except
poison ivy and a sunburn,
you're still better off than the worm.

To me there is a big difference. Most store bought is made with velveeta cheese ,not chedder.big difference in taste there alone.Just remember to use good chedder cheese when making it,good beer also .This is not considered alchaol abuse either  ;D
