Unlikely source of good bass. A river in CA

This place is all about SUP an recreational inner tubing. 

We were the only two kayak fishermen.  Everyone was bare skinned and suntanning. I was covered head to toe. I had some tourist ladies ask if I was married!  Haha.  Wgat a day.

But I found the pattern and killed them.

Big fish was a 4.5.  I took two rods. One was a brand new Megabass P5. And I'm hooked.

What river? I'm out here in CA and there are not many rivers you can fish like that outside of the Delta.
