Plastic bait hook screws.

I read somewhere that you can take the spring out of a ball point pen, cut it in half and bend one end of it on the eye of your hook and use the other end for a plastic bait holder by screwing the plastic onto it and then hooking the bait. Sounds like it might work.  PAK

Do a Google search for "Tru-Turn Hitchhiker Trailer."  I think it's exactly what you are looking for.  You can get 'em at BPS, Barlows, and a few other places for about 12-17 cents per unit depending on the quantity you buy and the place you buy 'em.  That's cheaper than ruining a pen.  I buy 'em by the 100 packs from Barlows.
