----------------------------------------------------
Note: This tournament was originally to take place on the Delaware River out of Gloucester City, NJ however due to the enormous Rain run off and ramp conditions, the TD made the call to move to Cooper River, however once it was realized that Cooper River had an event going on, anglers brought up fishing old time Favorite SWEDES Lake.

On Sunday, June 28, 2015 4 of SJHT finest anglers and came out for Round 10 of our 2015 season.

Although this is one of our smallest club turnouts, the anglers present fished with the attitude and passion only found within SJHT!  On what started out as tough bite, some anglers found there rhythm and kept stroking it.  I know other anglers not in the mix would have love to be able to fish this body of water, as it was one of our favorites when we were just a Lunker Club many moons ago.

Without further adieu, please give a big congrats to 1st place winner Brian *SubFish* M. for taking the win and Lunker with 3 Bass weighing 8.18lbs. Brian's Lunker went 3.65lbs.  2nd Place was won by our Tournament Director Rob *Ram1212* M. with 3 Bass going 5.86lbs.  Congrats men on a fine job!

1st Place winner Brian *SubFish* M.

2nd Place  Rob *Ram1212* M.

SWEDES Lake Tale of the Tape:

Unfortunately there were no other Notable Bass caught:

So in summary, Mother Nature and conditions have the FINAL Say when it comes to Tournament Bass Fishing.  Kudos goes out to those who came out and those who somewhat gave notice of there intentions.  That goes a long way in running a smooth event and waiting around unnecessarily.  Although the Delaware River was our initial destination, the TD made the right call in choosing the path of least resistance and eering on the side of safety after those torrential overnight and morning rains.  Good Job Rob!

6 Bass were caught in all totalling 14.04lbs.  This gave way to avg. of 2.34lbs per bass2 out of 4 anglers had at least 1 Bass. 2 Limits were brought to the scales.

Next up is MANASQUAN RES. in a little over 2 weeks. .

Tightlines.

Yeah... Lipripper.  We got a deluge of rain and heavy winds over the last week and half which some actually spawn some tornadoe sightings.  The Boat ramp with the 5' ~ 6' Tidal swings brings in alot of crap onshore and at the base of the ramp.

The TD made the right call.  Who likes fishing in coco\muddy waters anyway?  LOL!!!

I fish in just about anything except coco\muddy waters over the years I found it just a waste of time.
