Welcome to SJHT 4th event of the young 2024 Season where oncce again Mother Nature showed her Cards early and without conviction.  The wind progressively got worse as the morning sun got over head but that still didn't prevent anglers from finding some bites and bringing them to the weigh scales.

UNION LAKE is always a toss up this time of the year.  Typically, you have 1 or 2 anglers figure them out but today 3 anglers out of 6 reached there 3 Bass Limits.  Not feeling 100%, I arrived and brought the scales and sat this one out.  No need cancelling for just one person although some anglers probably wished I would have cancelled this event.....but as BoBo always said, "Fish got to Eat...Right"?

Let's get to it.

Please give a big congrats for a 2nd week in a row 1st place and Lunker winner   Pete *The Professor* Ingemi with 3 Bass going 11.82lbs.  Pete's Lunker went  a chunky 5.60lbs.   2nd Place was won by Jackson *The Assassin* Fu with 3 bass going 7.75lbs.  Third place was won by David *Tough as Leather* Snedeker with 3 Bass going 5.92lbs.   Fu also won Miscellleaneous with a 2.50lb Pickeral.

UNION LAKE TALE OF TAPE:

Pete's 1st Place and Lunker with 3 Bass at 11.82lbs and  Lunker going 5.60lbs.

Fu's 2nd Place Winner bag of 3 Bass going 7.75 lbs:

Parking Lot:

Summary: Union Lake still is serving up Filet Mignon and Lobster to those understanding and figuring our certain Spring patterns and the staging grounds as we near the NJ Closed Bass Season.
Anglers battled very tough windy, blustery conditions just to get a nibble, but they overcame in the end and put together catches that added to there point totals.  Congrats Men!!!  Way to brave and preservere in those conditions.

Out of 6 Anglers, there were 13 Bass caught....giving way to 32.37lbs .  The avg. weight was 2.49lbs. per Bass.

Overall....  Only 4 anglers caught there 3 Bass Limit.   5 out of 6 anglers caught at least 1 Bass.

Congrats to Pete Ingemi, Jackson Fu, and  David Snedeker on your perforrmances.

Next up is LUMS SP in 2 weeks.

Tightlines,
