Union Lake Tournament

Worst day I've had on this lake in June. Caught 3 dinks that total would have measured 17 inches. First place had 5 fish for 9.80lbs. Morning lunker(by 10am) was 1.86lbs. 28 of 49 boats didn't weigh in a fish. Total results are on the South jersey bass assoc. web site. I think my problem is I fish the grass which by now should be full and thick and the water is usually stained with visability about 6in. to a foot. Water yesterday was 72 degrees and you could see 4 to 6 feet down.  The grass is green but only about half of what it usually is. I hope somebody hasn't put any weed killer in the lake. Oh well guess I'll have to learn how to fish deep if it doesn't get any better. My partner only got 1 pickerel. Got to give him his due.
