That's my other spinning rod.  It's definitely less fast.  I do love the thing.

It's a must have. One of my most confidence techniques is a weightless 5" SENKO Texas-rigged. I love fishing deep emerging grasses and I just find I can twitch a worn thru them easier than a Wacky SENKO. Both catch me some fish.  Can I cast a weightless Yamamoto SENKO with a baitcaster?  yes!  Easily. Sometime even further with my Zillion. It's effortless.

This weekend I switched all my weightless worms to spinning gear.  Why. Because I'm a cheapskate. I'll keep using a worm until it almost is ribbons. And inevitably, the worm will come off the hook at the cast leaving a very light EMPTY hook at the end of my line.  Before I know it, I see worm parts go one way, my hook anemically flying in another direction.   BRAPFFT!  Backlash.   Haha.

With the dropshot, I'll have two spinning rigs in my kayak at all times.  Time to upgrade.  My Phenix Maxim spinning lost the butt end, and the #2 guide. It's janky.  I'm gonna invest in a goid stick since I love the technique so much.  It will be my next rod purchase.

Hey, first off, Welcome to the UB family.

I just got back this morning, so catching up on a few things here. Currently, I haven't done much as the environmental department at my work has had my boat for a little over 1/2 the year for a big project. But, all the money from renting it out to them is going into the build starting next month.

The boat has been great so far and I have a Suzuki DF25A powering it. Yes, a 25hp is plenty for that light boat with 2-3 people and gear.

Two of the biggest upgrades to my trailer has been the 2 rollers and the side bunks.

Looking forward to seeing what you do to yours as well.
