Dion Hibdon

Dion went to the hospital the other day with fluid on his lungs and all the other yuk stuff that's been going around. They sent him home on oxygen but he took a turn for the worse. Dion is diabetic and apparently his kidneys tried to shut down.

It was really touch and go last night, but as of now he is in an induced coma and his kidneys have improved. That's all I know right now. Many of you know that the Hibdons are like family to me (and actually they ARE to my wife, go figure). This is tough. Thought that some of ya'll might want to know. Fingers crossed and prayers being sent.

I went to see Dion today- he's in ICU and while not in a coma he was asleep when I was there, and I reckon sleep is a good thing. I was there a whole ten minutes- Amy says the doctors just don't know yet. They did start him on dialysis yesterday. It was hard to see him that way guys.

I told Amy that I was going to "go to the woods"(it's muzzleloader deer season). She said "Do it for him". Man, ya'll. Just damn.
