Sitting at the airport feeling like a dummy

I'm flying off to fish for big Striper in OK.  Carrying my travel rod.  I hear it rattling in the tube. I think to myself, "mmmm that rod isn't supposed to rattle?"  (It's in a rod sock as well).  I am just past the TSA checkpoint when I look down at the rod.  I grabbed the wrong rod!  I have my ultralight!   Spinning!   I'm carrying my new Curado Baitcaster with me.  I'm bummed. I bought a special rod just for this annual trip.

Wish my home wasn't two hours away.

I think this was the plan all along. He just needed an excuse that could pass muster with the Mrs.
