I'm experiencing the oddest California fishing summer. It's been tough.  With gas prices so high, I really consider the possibilities before I drive 2 hours to fish. My local lake is a really good option on such days.

Still tough, but I got five fish.  All keepers with one 3.5lb.  A good day for this summer!

Gas prices had gone down here from the mid 6s and were lower 5s now creeping back up again. Fjb...
